TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
Water leaking from funnel or top of
carafe
Coffee drips too slow or overflows
from the funnel
Residue in the bottom of the carafe
Coffee maker not making coffee
Cause
The carafe is not positioned correctly
Coffee is ground too finely
Nylon filter is dirty
Coffee is ground too finely
Nylon filter is dirty
Heater may overheat, causing unit to
shut down
Not enough water

Remedy
Make sure top of carafe lines up with
opening in the bottom of the funnel
Use coarser ground coffee
Clean the nylon filter with clean water
Use coarser ground coffee
Clean the nylon filter with clean water.
Try again after a few minutes. If it still
doesn't work, contact customer service
Add water to water tank.
