6. Connecting analogue inputs
The INGECON SUN ComBox has six analogue inputs intended for connecting sensors for different variables.
•
2 inputs 0 ~ 10 V or 0 ~ 20 mA (EA1 and EA2).
•
1 input 0 ~ 2 V or 0 ~ 20 mA (EA3).
•
1 input 0 ~ 400 mV or 0 ~ 20 mA (EA4).
•
2 inputs for PT100 with 3 wires (PT100_1 and PT100_2).
Proceed with wiring the connections as shown in the following figure:
Before connecting the sensors, make sure that they are switched off in order to prevent damage to
the unit.
To select the live voltage or current inputs EA1, EA2, EA3 and EA4 use the jumpers JP1, JP2, JP3 and JP4
respectively:
•
Jumper inserted (closed): current input.
•
Jumper removed (open): voltage or unused input.
Following this, the analogue inputs must be configured in the INGECON SUN Manager software.
See section "11.2. Configuration and monitoring" in this manual in order to configure the analogue
inputs.
Upon receiving the unit the jumpers will come inserted, thus the AI inputs will operate with current.
