CHOICE Of THE IROn TEMPERATURE
Turn the iron temperature control knob (11) so that the proper temperature corresponds to the
indicator (11a) according to the type of cloth to be ironed.

HOW TO fILL THE TAnK (17) WITH WATER
• Press the release button (16) and lift the base (2)
• Remove the water tank (17) from the boiler shell, gripping it by
the handle (18).
• Fill the tank (17) with tap water through the hole. Rinse the tank
before first use to remove any manufacturing residue.
• Only fill the tank (17) with running water without exceeding the
maximum level indicated by the word MAX.
• Never add detergents, chemicals or descalers.
• Put the tank back into place making sure to secure it firmly to the
boiler shell (1)
• Lower the iron base (2)
OPEnIng THE IROn BASE WITHOUT TAnK
• When filling the tank as described above, the iron base (2) might close and hook onto the boiler
shell (1) without the tank (17) in place. To release, press the button as shown in figure 3 and lift
the base (2). Be careful when you do this. Parts become hot during operation.
