Not every non-metallic container is safe to use for microwaving.
Please follow the procedure below to test if container is microwave safe:
Browning Dish
Follow manufacturer's instructions. The bottom of browning dish must be
at least 3/16" (5mm) above surface.
Dinnerware
Must be marked as "microwave-safe." Do not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Glass Jars
Always remove lid. Use only to heat food until warm. Most glass jars are
not heat resistant and may break.
Glassware
Use only heat-resistant oven glassware. Verify there is no metallic trim. Do
not use cracked or chipped dishes.
Oven Cooking Bags
Follow manufacturer's instructions. Do not close with metal tie. Create
slits allowing steam to escape.
Paper Plates and Cups
Use only for short term cooking. Do not leave oven unattended while cooking.
Aluminum Tray
May cause arcing.
Food Cartons With Metal Handles
May cause arcing.
Metal or Metal-Trimmed Utensils
Metal shields food from microwave energy. Metal trim may cause arcing.
Metal Twist Ties
May cause arcing and fire in oven.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

Clean these parts with a mild detergent, rinse and wipe dry. Never use abrasive powders or pads.
Control panel and plastic parts
Do not apply detergent or alkaline liquid spray to control panel and plastic parts. Use a damp cloth to clean parts.
Oven interior
Clean up spilled liquids, spattered oil and food debris as quickly as possible. If oven is used when dirty,
efficiency drops and dirt gets stuck on oven surface causing odor. Clean interior with a cloth soaked in warm
water and a mild detergent. Wipe soap off with damp cloth.
