General
A range of coils for use with 63A, 80A and 100 amp contactors. Suitable
for operation on 50Hz. supply.
Fitting coil to contactor
Refer to figure 1
To gain access to the coil:-
1. Remove the two screws (A) from the top of the contactor and lift off
arc shield (B).
2. Remove the two screws (C) securing contact bank (D) to lower
6
moulding (E).
3. Carefully separate the two mouldings making sure that the coil
spring (F) is retained on the upper moulding base.
4. Position coil onto former in lower moulding base.
5. Place coil terminals into moulding positions A1 and A2 (G).
Note: Coil termination may be positioned on either end of the
2
contactor by removing the blanking plates (H). These must be
placed in the vacant terminal moulding on reassemble.
6. Re-assemble contactor in reverse order.

auxiliary block actuating lug is located on top of the moving contact
42A
arm of the contactor (fig. 2).
14A
3. Refit arc shield.
36A
4. Check operation by actuating central mechanism.
36A
General
36A
Two contactors may be mechanically interlocked to prevent operation
30A
of both units at the same time.
15A
The kit can be fitted to 63A, 80A and 100 amp contactors allowing units
7A
to be interlocked together on the same base plate if required. As the
contactor range has the same dimensions, contactors of dissimilar
current ratings can be interlocked together.
