Returning the product
Using the correct packaging is the first step to returning a device without hassle. Only use
original tci packaging for returns, which contains 2 inlays and a cardboard box. If you no
longer have the original packaging, please contact our support team.
Devices which are damaged as a result of improper packaging may be excluded from the
warranty. We recommend sending the product via a commissioned courier, as experience
has shown that the risk of damage during transport is greatly reduced. Packaging infor-

Manufacturer's warranty
tci GmbH (TCI) offers purchasers a 24-month product warranty for products manufactured by TCI.
If a defect is discovered in a product manufactured by TCI within 24 months of delivery, TCI will at its
discretion and under the stated conditions either replace the device completely, replace certain parts
or repair the product.
Under the warranty, TCI will replace or repair products or product parts at no cost to the purchaser
within the warranty period, provided the defect has occurred within the scope of the proper use of the
product. The purchaser bears the cost and liability of identifying the defect, installing/removing the
product, and transporting and returning products or product parts.
The warranty period begins on the day on which the product is delivered. The warranty period is not
extended or does not restart if a product is redelivered as a result of a warranty claim.
The products or product parts delivered as replacements are new or good-as-new and in perfect
working order. Replaced products or product parts become the property of TCI upon dispatch by TCI
or collection of the replaced parts in question by TCI. The purchaser guarantees that third-party rights
do not impede this replacement and the transfer of ownership.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to TCI within a month of discovering a defect. Claims
should be addressed to: tci -Gesellschaft für technische Informatik mbH; Ludwig-Rinn-Straße 10-14;
35452 Heuchelheim / Gießen, Germany. Additional legal claims, especially damage claims, are not
covered by this warranty. Legal liability for defects is not affected by the warranty. The law of the
Republic of Germany applies, to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for
the International Sale of Goods. If the customer is a commercial entity, the place of jurisdiction in the
event of disputes arising from this warranty will be the registered headquarters of TCI.
Conditions for warranty claims:
1. The defect has occurred after purchase.
2. The affected product can be uniquely identi-
fied by its serial number.
3. Proof of purchase must be presented.
4. It has been determined that external factors,
such as fire, vandalism, unauthorised manipu-
lation of the device, excessive temperatures,
etc. or normal wear and tear are not the cause
of the defect.
5. The product has not been modified unless by
authorised TCI employees or partners.
6. The product has only be used properly in ac-
cordance with the operating instructions and
documentation.
7. The product has been installed, operated,
repaired and serviced under the specifications
provided by TCI. Specifically, this means:
a. The product was installed, mounted and
assembled by a specialist in accordance with
the operating and installation instructions.
b. Any necessary repairs in the event of a war-
ranty claim were carried out exclusively by TCI
employees/partners or using replacement parts
provided by TCI.
c. The affected product is only used in con-
nection with compatible products.

Not included in the warranty:
1. Actions to resolve faults arising from operating
errors, other improper use, technical manipu-
lation on the part of the purchaser or a third
party, or external factors for which TCI is not
responsible.
2. Costs of replaced parts that are particularly
worn, costs of consumables and data carriers.
3. Repair of accessories, modifications, attach-
ments or other devices and equipment not
supplied by TCI.
4. Repair work, if the environmental conditions
given in the documentation have not been
complied with.
5. Defects arising from faulty system layout,
system configuration and type of installation,
from operation under unsuitable environmental
conditions or other unsuitable operating meth-
ods, from unsuitable servicing or testing, or
from factors such as dirt and contamination.
