4.2 Weekly Programming

The programmer is only active in automatic mode ("AUTO" is displayed).
There are 30 levels of programming time can be set to ON or OFF, temperature and ope-
rating program. Each program can be disabled without the need for erasure, in a very
simple way. Pressing "SET" you go in and run the various programs, while using the
"TEMP +" and "TEMP-", you scroll through the variables to change. Then use the keys
"PROG +" and "PROG-" to set the required values.
WARNING!
If you use the chronothermostat function when the stove is on, the
digital clock in the stove will stop until you finish working on the
menu. It is better to work on the chronothermostat menu when the
stove is in stand-by (OFF).
4.2.1 Number of Program
Indication regarding the selected program from 1 to 15.
4.2.2 Day of the week
Indication on the weekly day of the program displayed. You can set, individually, the va-
rious days: Monday to Sunday (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun); every working day
from Monday to Friday (LV); weekends only from Saturday to Sunday (SD). This system
allows you to set a single program that can turn on or turn off the stove every day, from
Monday to Friday, at the same time.
4.2.3 Hour
Hour of power on or off of the stove.
4.2.4 Minutes
Minutes of power on or off of the stove.
4.2.5 Temperature Required
In case of program of ignition, temperature cannot be set here and will be used the tem-
perature set manually (see section 3.3).
4.2.6 Required Program
In case of program of ignition, the heating program cannot be set here and will be used
the heating program set manually (see section 3.4).
4.2.7 Type of program
Set the program, if the ignition "ON" if "OFF".
4.2.8 Enabling the program
This feature is essential because, if in a position not enabled (No A.), the system does
not control the program and the programmed function can not take place.
4.2.9 Example of Programming
To program the stove so that it turns on every day, Monday through Friday, at 08.00 pro-
ceed as follows after entering the ignition program.
• With "TEMP+" select "LV" as days of switching on, from Monday to Friday.
• Select the hour by pressing "PROG+" and set 08 using the keys "TEMP+" and "TEMP".
• Select the minutes by pressing "PROG+" and set 00 using the keys "TEMP+" and
"TEMP-".
• Select mode by pressing "PROG+" and set "ON" using the keys "TEMP+" and
"TEMP".
• Select the type of program with "PROG+" and set "ABIL" using the keys "TEMP+"
and "TEMP-".
• Press "SET" to store the data and insert a new program for start. If you are finished,
press "STOP" to exit.
• Remember to set the operation mode to enable automatic control of the weekly timer.
ATTENTION!
The stove will function during the hours of ON programming at the
same temperature and the power settings as when it was last shut
down.
4.3 Mode Thermostat.
To set the set thermostat mode (internal or external).
- Enter into MOD. THERMOSTAT
- Enter password if required. (To enter the password if not modified by the customer
press "SET" button 4 times)
- Choose the Thermostat mode You want to use
- Press SET for confirmation
ATTENTION!
the set thermostat mode is the first that appears on display in the
menu "MOD. THERMOSTAT"
4.3.1 Internal Thermostat
This mode regulates the stove's functioning based on the detected room temperature.
The stove is turned on both manually and automatically, by the weekly program controls
or the internal timer. The stove's power is controlled automatically based on the set tem-
perature, optimizing the heating with noticeable savings on the consumption of pellets.
4.3.2 External Thermostat
It's possible to connect an external thermostat to the stove by connecting the wires to
the appropriate connectors on the motherboard.
External Thermostat
If the contact is closed the set temperature is higher than the room temperature, the
other way around when the contact is open. The stove will automatically control the
contact and will regulate the heating power, relating to the imputed setting. ON and OFF
switching of the stove will always be manual or controlled by the weekly program con-
trols or the internal timer.
External Chronothermostat
It's possible to automate the turning on/off and temperature controls, through an external
chronothermostat, as an alternative to the internal thermostat.
If the contact is closed, with the set temperature higher than the room temperature the
stove will turn o , if switched off, while with the contact open and the set temperature
lower than the room temperature, the stove will gradually diminish power until shut
down. It will be possible to modify the power manually and control the stove through
the display. If the stove is shut down manually it will need to be turned on manually as
well. The stove will turn on automatically only if the closed contact will be opened and
closed later on. This port can be also used to turn the stove on and off through preset
power manual switch.
4.4 Stove parameters
Pressing SET will modify such stove parameters as: pellets load, smoke extractor speed,
air exchanging fan and room temperature. Through the buttons TEMP+ and TEMP- it's
possible to modify the stove's settings by percentage to correct its functioning based
on the quantity of pellets used. Then press SET to confirm the new parameters and save
them. To scroll through the parameters use the buttons PROG+ and PROG-. To exit the
menu press STOP.
4.4.1 Pellets' Load
Modifies the load of pellets by percentage.
4.4.2 Smoke Extractor
Modifies the smoke extractor parameters by percentage.
4.4.3 Air Exchanging Fan
Modifies the air exchanger fan parameters by percentage.
4.4.4 Function STAND-BY
This function is used to turn on and to turn off the stove automatically according to the
set temperature.
OFF: means that this function is not active. When the temperature reach the set tem-
perature, the stove work in eco function ( it works at minimum speed, the stove never
stop).
3°-10°: indicates the difference in degrees from the set temperature that is necessary
to turn on and off the stove. Normally the difference from the set temperature is 3°C
but this value can be modified using TEMP + and TEMP- ( min. set difference 3°C ,
max set. difference 10°).
4.5 Diagnostic errors
During operation, if the system detects an error, the stove is turned off, following the cooling
cycle, and on the display appears an error message that can be deleted, only manually.
Although, in automatic mode, the stove is waiting the reset of the alarm for acknowledge.
To see how to reset the errors see paragraph 3.7 (Reset System Errors).
The errors displayed are as follows:
Error 1 / No Ignition
If, after a power cycle, the stove does not reach the minimum working temperature,
the cycle ends with error and the system proceeds to a programmed cooling. This
could be due to, lack of fuel, crucible dirt, or dirty or faulty igniters.
Error 3 / Failure of the Vacuum smoke circuit
If, during operation, the system detects poor suction of air, the cycle ends with error
system and proceeds to a programmed cooling. That error is common, either using a
pressure sensor or using an intake sensor (only, if the vacuum sensor is provided).
Error 4 / Water temperature
The water temperature is checked and if exceed 80 °C for more than 2 minutes the
stoves show alarm 4.
Error 5 / Missing pellet
If, during operation, the temperature of the combustion chamber drops below the limit
set, the loop ends with system error. This may be due to lack of fuel or block of di-
spensing of the same.
Error 6 / Alarm pressure switch
If the switch is activated by low inadequate smoke suction, the heating cycle ends
with error 6. This could be caused by an obstruction of the aspiration or by the expul-
sion of fumes.
Error 7 / Alarm Thermostat
In case of excessive overheating of the stove a safety device activates to cut the main
power. This type of alarm is generated by the safety tank thermostat (see page 16,
point H). In this case, in order to switch on the stove it is necessary to reset it by fol-
lowing the steps on page 17.
Error 8 / Missing voltage
If, during any phase of operation of the stove, fails the supply voltage, when it returns,
the stove signals, with an alarm, the lack of power supply and the stove switches off.
Error 9 / Alarm engine flue gas
