2 - GENERAL SAFETY

ATTENTION!
Incorrect installation or misuse of the product may cause injury to people, ani-
mals or things.
Carefully read the documentation that comes with this product as it provides important
indications concerning safety, installation, use and maintenance.
The packaging material (plastic, cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) must be disposed of in
compliance with to the rules in force. Keep nylon bags and polystyrene out of children's
reach.
Keep instructions and attach them to the technical file for future reference.
This product has been designed and manufactured exclusively for the use indicated in
this documentation. Other uses could be the source of damage to the product and the
source of danger.
The Company waives any responsibility resulting from improper or any use other than
the that for which the product has been designed as in the present documentation
- Do not install the product in an explosive atmosphere.
- The system's elements must be in compliance with the following European Directives:

- Disconnect the power supply before carrying out any intervention on the system.
- A switch or an omnipolar thermal-magnetic circuit breaker should be provided on the
mains power supply with contact separation equal or higher than 3.5 mm
- Make sure that upstream from the mains power supply there is a residual current
circuit breaker tripping at 0.03A.
- Check that the earth system is connected correctly. Earth all metal parts and all the
components of the system fitted with earth terminal.
- Apply all safety devices in conformity with all applicable directives and technical
standards.
- Provide adequate signals to warn that pedestrians are not allowed access.
- The Company declines all responsibility related to correct operation and safety of the
automated system if components from other producers are used
- Exclusively use original spare parts for any maintenance or repair.
- Do not make any modifications to the automated components unless expressly
authorized by the Company.
- Instruct the system's user on the control systems applied and on the manual opening
of the system in case of emergency.
- Do not allow people or children stand around the automated area.
- Do not leave remote controls within children's reach so as to avoid unintentionally
operating the system
- The user must avoid any attempt to intervene or repair the automated system and
must address to qualified personnel only.
- Anything which is not expressly provided for in these instructions, is not permitted.
- The installation must be carried out using safety devices and controls in compliance
with EN 12978
