4.3 Replacing the radiant heater
Electric shock!
Contact with energized components
presents a danger to life from electric
shock.
Before replacing the radiant heater,
disconnect the device from the mains and
secure it against unintentional start-up.
• Switch off the device.
• Pull out the mains plug.
The heater protective grids are kept in position by
means of locking pins inserted in the corresponding
bore holes and fastened through internal tension.
To dismount the protective grid of the main heater:
1. Protect the surface paint by applying adhesive
tape to each contact point of the screwdriver
2. Place the screwdriver directly at the bore holes
and then carefully lift the locking pins

3. Remove the locking pins of the heater protective
grid from the upper bore holes and then raise the
heater protective grid.
To dismount the heater protective grid of the side
arm:
1. Protect the surface paint by applying adhesive
tape to the contact points of the screwdriver
2. Place the screwdriver at the opening between the
heater protective grid

holes and then raise the grid.
