Automatic synchronization of the main unit and the remote sensor
1. After batteries have been inserted in the main unit, the synchronization is launched
automatically and runs for approximately 3 minutes.
2. Within these 3 minutes, the main unit (receiver) picks up the temperature & humidity
signals from the remote sensor and displays the readings.
3. If the main unit does not display the readings after 3 minutes, in normal mode
(display of all the readings), press and hold the
key for 2 or 3 seconds to synchronize
manually the remote sensor and the main unit.
Note: it may take up to 1 minute before the main unit displays the readings.
Radio Control Clock (RCC)
After the main unit and the remote sensor have been synchronized, the SM2000
will automatically activate the RCC function. Your weather station is designed to
automatically synchronize its calendar clock once it is brought within the reception range
of a radio signal.
There are 2 different radio signals:
- DCF77 signal, for GMT +1 (France, Spain, Italy, Germany);
- MSF signal, for GMT (UK, Ireland, Portugal).
he
The DCF77 signal will be received if the main unit is within 1500 km of the Frankfurt
atomic clock. Your main unit will be automatically synchronised with the MSF signal if

located within the UK radio signal range.
1. If the clock is within the range of both the DCF77 and MSF radio signals, you can
toggle between the 2 signals by sliding the RCC selector (located inside the main unit's
battery compartment) on the "DCF" or the "MSF" position. You can also turn off the RCC
ible.
function by sliding the selector on the "OFF" position.
2. The clock automatically starts scanning the RF 433MHz signal for a few minutes after
new batteries are inserted in the main unit. When receiving radio signal, the RCC icon
starts to blink. A complete reception generally takes about 10 minutes, depending on the
strength of the radio signal. During the reception of the RCC signal, the main unit will no
longer update the data received from the outdoor remote sensor.
3. When the reception is complete, the RCC icon
will stop blinking and remain solid.
4. You can also start the scan manually (refer to the "Clock and date settings" section,
