Installation Guidelines
General Note: Please consult all local plumbing codes before installing
Watts roof drains.
Introduction
Building roofs are effected by all types of weather and changes in the atmosphere.
Roof expansion and contraction are caused by both freezing and thawing of standing
water in and on roof areas. Thorough and effective roof drainage systems can
eliminate damage to both the roof and substructure of a building.
Watts has an extensive line of roof drains and accessories engineered and designed to
meet the needs and concerns of our customers.
Watts RD-1/RD-100-F/RD-200-F/RD-300-F/RD-500-F/RD-700-F/RD-800-F use a
deck flange/adjustable extension with threaded rods to easily adjust the roof drain to
the desired height.

Typical Installation "F" Deck Flange Installation Instructions The use of a 10 ga. zinc plated steel flange helps to reduce the risk of a crooked or off-set of the leader pipe. It enables the roof drain to be adjusted to insulation height and is recessed in the center to accept the roof drain body and eliminate the pooling of water in and around the drain. - Página 3 Step 5: Turn drain upright and lower onto "F" flange, aligning all-thread rod with "F" flange holes. Step 5 Step 5 Step 6: From underside of roof, align "D" underdeck clamp holes with all-thread rod. Raise "D" underdeck clamp against underside of roof deck, and secure with hex nuts and wash- ers.

(the “Company”) warrants each product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal usage for a period of one year from the date of original shipment. In the event of such defects within the warranty period, the Company will, at its option, replace or recondition the product without charge.

Garantía limitada: Watts Regulator Co. (la “Compañía”) garantiza que cada producto estará libre de defectos en el material y mano de obra cuando se usen de forma normal durante un periodo de un año a partir de la fecha de envío original.
