By turning the drive (2) clockwise with a crank, the spindle nut (1) moves in clamping direction
with the mobile jaw. The scrapers (4) prevent dirt from entering the thread of the spindle. The
maximum clamping force with which the workpiece is clamped is set with the clamping force
pre-setting device (3). The clamping force is built up after the mobile jaw makes contact with
the workpiece. The clamping force is increased with a pressure booster (5).
The set clamping force is reached when the drive is turned up to the stop.
NOTICE
Avoid internal tension.
Damage to the NC8.
Ø Only clamp workpieces from the outside.
