Drafts: if you don't have time to finish
writing a message, you can save what
you have done so far here.
Chat box: this menu stores messages
sent and received on a single screen,
creating an SMS chat.
Outbox: this is a temporary storage
folder while messages are being sent.
It also stores any messages that have
failed to send.
Sent: all the messages you send are
placed in your Sent folder.
Listen voice mail: this menu allows you
to quickly access your voice mailbox (if it
exists on the network).
Info messages: you can see the
information messages sent by your
service provider.
Templates: there is a list of pre-defined
messages. You can view and edit the
template messages or create new
messages.
Setting: allows you to modify the text
message settings, the number of the
voice mail and the message information.

Changing your text message
settings
Your telephone message settings
are pre-defined so that you can send
messages immediately.
If you would like to change the settings,
you can do this using the Setting
options.
Press Menu > Messaging > Setting >
Text message. You can make changes to:
Message centre number: enter the
details for your message center.
Delivery report: choose to receive
confirmation that your message was
delivered.
Validity period - Choose how long your
message is stored at the message center.

Reply charging allows you to load the
message for the same service center.
Message type: You can change the
message type to Text, Voice, Fax,
Paging, X.400 or ERMES. Normally, the
message type is set to Text. You can
convert the text to other formats.
Save sent message: allow you to save
your text messages.
