3. INSTALLATION OF THE RAPIDO PUMP WITH ASSEMBLY KIT FOR
ARTIPLASTIC® DUCT 08 :
Clean all elements of the a/c unit's drain, in order to ensure that the condensate
water to be pumped will be clean.
The drain tank should be deep enough such that it is capable of containing the
water, above the alarm level, which will continue to flow from the evaporator in
the event of a power failure.
Mark the position of the
elbow
and
duct
holes on the left of the air-
conditioner.
Take care of the dimension
cover,
which
is
10mm
longer
than
basis.
Drill the holes and insert the wall-plugs.
Fix the elbow, the polystyrene hull and the duct.
With one of the duct
fixing
screws,
fix
anti-wrenching
support (strain relief).
Connect
the
elliptical
detection reservoir to the
a/c
unit's
drain
according to recommen-
dations in chapter 2. Fit
the ventilation tube onto
the detection block and
position the pump and
detection
unit
elbow. Fix the pump and
detection unit with the
Velcro strips.
