Intended use/Indications
This product is intended to restrict
movements in CMC and MCP1 joints
and to position the thumb in a functional
position by an individually moulded plastic
thumb support.
Mild to Moderate CMC and MCP 1
instability, Ligament Injuries, Morbus
de Quervain, Tendinitis, Degenerative
diseases, Trauma. Intended for one
persons use.
Contraindications

Limitations
This product should only be altered
by a medical professional person. The
prescriber will determine the duration
and conditions for use.
Warnings
Make sure that the straps are not too
tight. If any sign of skin irritation occurs,
immediately remove the support. Check
your skin on a daily basis.

Carefully read this instruction sheet before use!
Instructions for use
1. Check that the product is complete
and without damage.
2. Make sure the thermoplastic is correct
positioned in the pocket.
3. Dip the complete product into a water-
bath until the plastic is soft and mouldable.
4. Remove excess water with a towel and
make sure the material is not too hot
before fitting.
5. Shape the orthosis on the patient. Let
the orthosis sit on the patient until cool.
Remove and let it air-dry.
6. Adjust all Velcro straps on the patient.
7. During daily use the Velcro straps to
open and close the orthosis.
The plastic insert should be removed
before washing.
Material Specifications
Made from cotton, nylon, polyester, lycra
and polyurethane. Low Temperature
Thermoplastic from Copolymer. This
product is not flame retardant. Latex free.
Washing Instruction
Remove plastic before wash. Close all
Velcro prior to laundering. Machine wash in
40°C (104°F), gentle cycle. Use a washing
bag. Dry flat. Do not tumble dry or dry
clean.
