Assembly of the cutting discs
WARNING
The cutting discs specified for this tool
are 5" Never use a different cutting disc type or size.
Otherwise, it can cause severe personal injury or damage
the tool making the Warranty void.
Only clean, sharp,
well-aligned discs can
guarantee a good cut.
Have spare cutting discs to
always have sharp cutting
discs.
Use cutting discs with orifices having the correct size and shape for the axis (diamond versus round). Otherwise they can
rotate with an eccentric movement causing loss of control and there is not going to be a good gear assembly for the
torque regulator (vari-torque).
Never use damaged or wrong washers and bolts. For an excellent performance and safety to the user the washers and
bolts included are designed specifically for this model. The cutting discs washers and bolt work as "VARIABLE TORQUE
BRAKE".
You need to learn and understand the operation and positions of the VARIABLE TORQUE BRAKE. The right positions of
the BRAKE combined with a firm handling allow controlling the tool in case of kickback.
The useful life of the discs and the cutting quality depend on keeping the vibration to the minimum.
Once the discs are worn they shall be replaced immediately.
