TIPS
- For long work pieces use suitable supports on
both sides of the machine.
- Use auxiliary fence when sawing small cut-offs
(this may be a suitable board, fastened with four
screws to the fence).
- When cutting warped or bent work pieces, make
sure that you place the work piece so that the
convex side (i.e. the outer side of the bow) is
against the fence.
- Do not cut any work piece while it is standing on
edge. Always place it flat on the rotating table.
- Keep the supporting surfaces clean – in
particular, remove resin residue with a suitable
cleaning and maintenance spray.

REPAIRS
- Repairs to electric tools must be carried out by
qualified electricians only! an Electric tool in
need of repair can be sent to the service centre
of your country. Refer to the space parts list for
the address. Please attach a description of the
fault to the electric tool

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

- The machine's packaging material is 100% re-
cyclable. Worn out power tools and accessories
contain considerable amounts of valuable raw
and rubber materials, which can be recycled.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
- This section describes problems and mal-
functions which you should be able to resolve
yourself. If the measures described here do not
solve your problem, please refer to "Repairs".
- DANGER: Many accidents happen particularly
in connection with problems and malfunctions.
Therefore, please note.
- Always unplug before servicing.
- Check that all safety devices are operational
again after each fault service.
- Motor does not run
NO POWER
- Check cables, plug, outlet and mains fuse.
NO CROSSCUT FUNCTION
- Transport lock engaged
- Unlock the transport lock.
- Safety lock engaged
- Actuate the safety lock.
MACHINE LACKS POWER
- The saw blade is blunt and worn (possibly has
heat marks from overheating).
- The saw blade is not suitable for material you
are cutting (see chapter "Technical Specifica-
tions").
SAW BLADE WARPED:
- Replace the saw blade (see chapter "Mainte-
nance")
SAW VIBRATES HEAVILY
- Saw blade warped
- Replace the saw blade (see chapter "Mainte-
nance")
- Saw blade incorrectly mounted
- Remove the saw blade and then mount it again
correctly (see chapter "Maintenance").
SAW SQUEALS WHEN STARTING
- The drive belt is loose
- Tighten the drive belt (see chapter "Mainte-
nance – Drive belt tensioning").
ROTATING TABLE DOES NOT MOVE AT ALL
OR IS HARD TO TURN.
- Saw dust has built up under the rotating table.
- Remove the saw dust.
