• Follow the safety standards for handling fuel (Page 5).
• Let the motor cool down completely before filling up.
• Set the tool onto a flat surface and tilt towards the
carburetor.
• Wipe around the fuel tank cap to avoid contamination.
• Slowly loosen the fuel cap.
• Use care to avoid spillage. Pour the fuel mix into the fuel
tank.
Follow fuel specifications (Page 3).
CAUTION
• Before setting back the fuel cap check and clean the
joints.
• Immediately cover the fuel tank cap and tighten by hand.
• Wipe clean any fuel spill.
In a new motor and after using for the

Starting from a cold motor
• Set the tool in level ground where the cutter head is not
making contact with obstacles.
• Set the switch in the ON position (F).
• Press and release 8 times the starter choke (G).
• Move the choke lever into "
• Press the throttle trigger (H) and pull the starter (I) to
start the motor. DO NOT pull more than 4 times.
• Move the choke lever into the "

• When the motor starts keep the throttle trigger pressed
a couple of seconds and set the choke lever into the "

• The tool is ready to run. Hold it by both handles and lift it to
start working.
