• Make sure that the AC power source is grounded and protected with a Ground Fault Current
Interrupt (GFCI).
• If the GFCI breaker in the AC power source fails (opens), determine the cause before restoring
power to the sampler.
• Do not attempt to make any connection or otherwise handle the electrical components of the
sampler when connected to the AC power source if the immediate area is wet, or if hands or
clothing are wet.
• Position the equipment so it is not difficult to disconnect power to the equipment.

Install the power supply
Electrocution hazard. Always remove power to the instrument before making electrical connections.
