The Leica Geovid HD-R can also be used for
measurements in continuous mode (Scan mode):
Press the main/trigger button once, then press again
and hold depressed. After approx. 2.5 seconds, the
device switches to Scan mode and then performs
measurements permanently. This is indicated by
alternating displays:

A new measured value is displayed after approx. 1
second.
Scan mode is particularly practical when measuring
small and moving targets.
Notes:
• In Scan mode, the
displayed only after the last measurement, not
before.
• The power consumption during Scan mode is
higher than with individual measurements due to
the continuous measurement.
