4. Operating Instructions
IMPORTANT: Never touch the metal grid with your bare hands! If you need to replace the lamps or clean the tray,
follow the safety instructions carefully.
a. Discharging the device before maintenance
• Switch off the device and unplug it from the mains.
• Use a screwdriver with an insulated handle. Make sure you only hold the screwdriver by the handle.
• Short-circuit the 2 wires of the inner metal grid by gently touching them simultaneously with the metal shaft
of the screwdriver. A spark may arise. Repeat this manipulation until no more sparks arise.
b. Fitting a new lamp
• Discharge the device.
• Open the protective grid by loosening the screw that holds it.
• Replace the lamps with lamps of the same type and rating.
c. Cleaning the tray
• Discharge the device.
• Remove the tray by sliding it out of the device.
• Clean the tray with a brush.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

1. All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
2. The housing and its accessories should not be deformed.
3. Moving mechanic parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
4. The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
5. Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
6. Wipe the device regularly with a brush. Do not use water, alcohol or solvents.
7. Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
