To prevent this, or if this occurs, leave the device in the room for
one or two hours. This will enable the device to stabilise at ambient
temperature.
In order to avoid possible hearing damage, do not listen at
high volume level for long periods of time.
Battery recycling
Do not dispose of the batteries with household waste. In order to protect
the environment, the batteries must be disposed of according to current
regulations.
Dispose of them at your nearest battery recycling point or return them
to your store.

USING THE DEVICE
Inserting the batteries
1. Open the battery compartment cover at the rear of the device.
2. Insert two 1.5 V AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment,
observing the correct polarity.
3. Close the battery compartment.
Note: Check your batteries regularly. Batteries that are too old or
discharged must be replaced in order to prevent damage from acid
leakage.
If you do not plan to use this radio for a long period of time, remove the
batteries from the device.
