USING YOUR
THERMOMETER FOR
THE FIRST TIME
The device is supplied with a 3V battery
(CR2032) already in place, so it is ready
to use.

SETTING THE TIME

The first time you use this thermometer
or after changing the battery, you have
to set the time.
Open the battery compartment using the
tip of a biro. Press the time set button.
The hour numbers flash. Press the 'on'
button of the thermometer to set the

hour. Confirm by pressing the time set
button. The minute numbers flash.
Press the 'on' button of the thermometer
to set the minutes. Confirm by pressing
the time set button.
On standby, the screen will alternately
display the ambient temperature and the
time.
TAKING
TEMPERATURES
With its protective cap on, the device
is in forehead mode by default. When
the protective cap is removed, the
thermometer automatically switches to
ear mode.
1. Forehead
Press the temperature reading button.
There is a beep, then the latest tempe-
rature in the memory is displayed. Press
the temperature reading button and keep
it depressed. Place the sensor on one
of your temples. Slide the sensor
across your forehead to the other
temple. Release the button to stop the
measurement. There is a beep and your
temperature is displayed.

temperature.
The forehead temperature can be
subject to the influence of outside
climatic conditions. In case of doubt,
do not hesitate to take the temperature
in the ear.
2. Ear
Remove the protective cap. The device
automatically switches to ear mode.
Press the temperature reading button.
