INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY

1. Create a space in the wall for the thermostatic mixer and its protective polystyrene
casing (Fig.1).
2. Lodge the cold water supply pipes to the lower right hand side, while the hot water
pipes to the left. On both the top area, lodge the sanitary supply pipes (diverter) (Fig.
2).
3. Respect the levels shown in Figure 3.
4. To avoid impurities and deposits from entering the mixer and giving way to operating
problems, fl ush the piping before connecting the supply pipes. It is advised that a fi lter
be installed at system intake.
5. Mount the thermostatic mixer with polystyrene casing protection, placing care that
the surface of the fi nished wall (with tiles) falls into the maximum level indicated (min
65 mm, max 100 mm). (Fig 3)
6. Connect all connections as illustrated in Figure 4.
7. Clad the walls (Fig 5).
8. Cut away the polystyrene protection (Fig.6).
9. Remove any fi lth/impurities on the surface of the thermostatic mixer and/or tiles;
check settings are set to zero by means of the red reference points on the cartridge
which must all be turned upwards.
10. Cover with the cover plate (20). (fi g.8)
11. Insert the diverter knob (8) making sure to keep the lever in vertical position
12. Place the spacer ring (9) in its appropriate seat of the diverter knob
13. Insert the supply lever (10) with the lever seat turned downwards. Fix it in place with
the grub screw provided (18) and screw the lever (19).
14. Assure that the reference marks on the thermostatic cartridge (13) are aligned (Fig. 9)
15. Insert the cam (16) ensuring that the outcropping reference (A) respects the vertical
axis. (Fig. 9).
16. Insert the temperature control knob (17) ensuring that the red button (B) and relative
stud are upright and respect the position of the outcropped reference (A).
17. Check to make sure that temperature control knob (17) is properly mounted. It can
rotate clockwise, while to rotate it counter-clockwise, it is necessary to push the red
button (B) to have hot water above 38°C.
18. Lodge well and block with grub screw (18) and screw the lever (19).
19. Use a rag to clean thoroughly.
