Soil installation:
1. Mark the three holes on the wall of the support.
2. Make the 3 Ø 8mm holes.
3. Follow on from point 5 in the previous section.
Note: an electrovalve may be connected to the purge exit in order to temporize
cleanings.
4. MAINTENANCE
Purging: before the limit set out in Fig. 1 - pag.16 is reached, the HydroSpin should
be purged by opening the lower valve when accumulated waste can be seen.
When carrying out this operation it is neither necessary to stop the filter system nor
to turn the filter valve key.
5. TROUBLE-SHOOTING
If you notice that the pressure reading has risen considerably on the HydroSpin entrance manometer, it may be due
to:
a)
The filter is dirty: check the pressure of the filter's manometer, and if it has risen, carry out its cleaning
operation. (Follow the steps in the filter's instruction manual). Afterwards, check that the HydroSpin's
entrance manometer pressure has decreased.
b) The HydroSpin is blocked: check the pressure of the Filter's
manometer, if this is the same or the pressure has decreased, it
means that there is one or more blockages within the HydroSpin,
in which case the following steps must be taken to unblock it:
1. Stop the filtration system.
2. Shut off the system's suction and discharge valves.
3. Purge the waste and water by opening the lower valve.
4. Unscrew the two nuts in the 8 caps.
5. Separate the central body, taking care with the joint.
6. Separate the diffuser (pressure)
7. To extract the body of cyclones, turn them firmly to the right
until snug (about 2 centimetres of movement)
8. Take out the 6 top screws.
9. Check that there are no obstructed cyclones (holes) and wash
the whole piece with pressurized water, going over all the
cyclones once again.
10. Once everything has been washed, assemble the whole in
reverse order to that described above, position the joint
snugly in its place and screw in the 8 screws around the
perimeter tightly.
Attention:
If you detect that the accumulated dirt inside the Hydrospin Compact has a
very uneven surface it is possible that there is some obstruction in one of the
cyclones, follow step b) described previously (Fig. 4 page. 16).
When it is running check that the HydroSpin does not lose water through
the caps.
Check that the pressure on both the HydroSpin and Filter manometers is similar.
6. SAFETY WARNINGS
Do not install HydroSpin in facilities with a cleaning system with active oxygen or its derivates.
Do not connect the HydroSpin directly to the water network as the pressure may be very high and exceed the
maximum pressure supported by the equipment.
Do not use the filtration circuit for filling up and regulating the swimming pool water level. An error in its use
could cause overpressure in the filter.
Do not clean the equipment with any kind of solvent, as it could lose its properties (shine, transparency...)
In filtration installations with diatomeaceous filters, a bypass between the pump and the filter must be made so
that the HydroSpin does not separate the diatomeaceous earth when it is introduced into the filtration system;
the when doing so close the connections to the HydroSpin.
