INSTALLATION OF CHILD CAR SEAT IN VEHICLE
To install the child seat with the Ifix connectors, follow the indications from
Fig. 02 to Fig. 10.
fig. 47
Using the lever (F), bring the child seat to the completely vertical
position.
fig. 48
Once the child seat is connected in the car using the Ifix connectors
and after settling the child, use the rear lever (E), to adjust the height of the
headrest (A) to the desired position.
fig. 49
The position of the car safety belt buckle can jeopardise the stability of
the child seat; if it is positioned as in figure, the child seat cannot be installed.
fig. 50
Pass the diagonal section (T2) of the safety belt through the upper belt
guide (B) above the child's shoulder.
fig. 51
Then pass the lap section (T1) of the safety belt through the lower belt
guides (C) on both sides of the child seat and engage the belt in the housing
provided for that seat, until it CLICKS correctly into place.
Important: both sections of belt, lap and diagonal, must pass through the belt
guides at the connecting buckle.
fig. 52
Ensure that the belt is always tight and not wound and, if necessary,
tighten it further by pulling the diagonal section (T2) upwards.
Caution! Make sure the safety belt is not twisted or caught on anything and that
the child seat's lining does not obstruct its movement or prevent it from being
positioned correctly.
fig. 53
Important! The upper belt guide (B) must always be positioned over
the child's shoulders. The car's safety belts must never be too low or too high
in relation to the child's shoulders. To ensure the car's safety belts are passed
correctly, periodically check and adjust the height of the backrest and the
headrest to adapt them as the child grows.
