TAC, ALKALINITY
TAC should be around 8 and 20° (French values).
Water with low mineral content (less than 8°F) will react sharply to each change in pH and water will lose
its "buffer" effect.
The result will be an over-consumption of reagent and high pH fluctuation.
e.g. slightly acid rain can cause pH to drop below the recommended value.
We recommend that water TAC be checked once annually and changed if required.
PERISTALTIC PUMP
At the beginning of the season, lubricate the flexible latex pipe so that it retains its elasticity. Unscrew the
two small screws from the transparent mask. Apply a little silicone grease between the rollers and the
latex.
WINTER STORAGE OR DRAINING OF THE POOL
There are two cases:
• Winter storage without draining the pipes: leave the pH probe in place.
• Remove the pH probe if you drain the filtration system, replace the protective cap and store in a dry
place.
This small cap must be filled with a solution of potassium chloride (KCl) so as to hydrate the probe's glass
chamber (if this is not possible, use pool water). Store in a dry place at constant temperature.
Never leave the pH probe exposed to the air.

FAULT SIGNALS

The pH control unit has an in-built fault-detection system.
When a fault is detected:
1) Injection is immediately stopped.
2) The digital screen will alternate display of error code and pH level and Acid and Base lights will flash.
Error U01
Real-time operation of the pH pump exceeds that which was programmed.
— The pump is unprimed, the tank is empty, the pipe is punctured, a valve is clogged or the tank has the
wrong concentration of product.
Other errors numbered from 2 to 6 indicate disruption recorded by the probe.
No water in the pipe, backwash, probe out of use or damaged.
If the same error recurs frequently, contact your installer.
Important: to cancel an error and start the control unit up again, press the A/B light for 1 second.
After cancelling the error, ensure that the unit indicates the function chosen (A = pH-; B = pH+)
