Protac Incontinence Cover
Using the product
The Protac Incontinence Cover is used over the outside
of the blanket if the patient is incontinent (involuntary
urination).
General precautions - Safety
DK
• The same risk precautions apply as for the use of a plastic bag:
- A Protac MyBaSe® used with an incontinence cover must not be used for children with-
out supervision.
GB
- A Protac MyBaSe® with incontinence cover must not be used for patients unable to care
for themselves without supervision.
• Must not be used near an open flame.
DE
• Do not allow the user to lie with their head down on the mattress.
• You must not crawl under the Protac incontinence cover.
FI
Product service life
The product has an expected service life of 5 years.
This is based on correct use, cleaning, washing, service and maintenance.
FR
Products used beyond the aforementioned service life should be assessed for further use.
Responsibility for using the product beyond the stated service life rests with the user.

Cleaning
The air mattress can be cleaned with a cloth wrung in hot water. The cover can be washed. The
regularity and need for washing depends on use. See below for washing and cleaning instruc-

Protac MyBaSe®
ES
• The cover can be machine washed in a min. 6 kg capacity washing machine with washing
powder with no bleaching agents - see also the washing instructions on the cover.
IT
To remove spots using a spot remover, always try first on an area which is not visible to test for
damage or discolouring. Protac does not recommend the use of spot remover.
Protac cannot be held liable for incorrect washing and maintenance.
Maintenance
We recommend washing the cover regularly.
Transport and storage
Protac MyBaSe® must be installed before it is ready for use.
For transport purposes Protac MyBaSe® is packed in 3 carrying bags and protective plastic to
protect Protac MyBaSe® against dirt and moisture.
When not in use, Protac MyBaSe® should be stored safely to protect it against dirt and moisture.
When not in use, Protac MyBaSe® can stand against the wall.
