Intended use

Intended use
The thermostat TRD has been designed to regulate the temperature of a connected heat
source (e.g. heater/titanium tube, electric blankets or heating lamps), depending on the
current temperature.
The specified temperature and the switching accuracy can be set on the digital display.
The thermostat then automatically regulates the switching times of the connected heat-
ing source, depending on the temperature measured at the sensor.

Safety instructions

WARNING:
The thermostat is operated with electricity. Therefore, if it is not handled properly,
there is a danger of death by electric shock.
- Before using the thermostat, ensure that it is not damaged.
- Never open the housing of the thermostat.
- Only operate the thermostat at a socket, which has a voltage value that matches
the value specified in the technical data.
- Only connect heat sources to the thermostat whose voltages match the value
specified in the technical data.
- Only operate the thermostat together with an earth fault circuit interrupter with
a maximum of 30 mA.
- Do not expose the thermostat to moisture and do not put it in baths, saunas or
other damp or wet areas.
Generally, the following applies:

Do not leave the thermostat unsupervised if children or persons who cannot assess
dangers are in the area.

The thermostat is not designed for use by persons (including children) with restricted
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or with insufficient experience and/or
knowledge, unless such persons are supervised by a person who is responsible for
their safety, or if they have received instructions on how to use the device from the
person who is responsible for their safety.

Supervise children to ensure that they do not play with the thermostat.
