1. Remove the screws that secure the valve enclosure to
the heater's base. See Fig. 15.

2. Remove the screw that holds the pilot assembly to the
burner. See Fig. 16.

SCREW
3. Pull the pilot assembly away from its locating stud on
the burner. See Fig. 17.

4. Lift and pivot the gas control valve assembly with
pilot assembly so the burner manifold clears the
bottom of the burner casting. See Fig.17.
5. Remove the screws from the bracket located at the
gas control inlet. see Fig. 18.

1. Remove the bracket at the inlet of the gas control
