- Ensure that the base is off.
- Connect the AC power supply cable to the input connector «T» (DC 5V IN) on the back of the base.
- Connect the AC power supply unit to the mains power socket.
- Switch on the base with the switch «U» on the rear. The green power LED «P» on the base fl ashes for a few seconds.
- Make sure that the headphones are off and that the switch «A» is in the OFF position.
- Insert a battery module in the headphones with the correct polarity (FIG. 4).
- Place the headphones on the base housing «M». The charging indicator LED «Q» for the main battery turns green if
the battery is charging and red if it needs charging.
- Insert the second battery module in the secondary charging slot «S». The charging indicator LED «R» for the secondary
battery turns green if the battery is charging and red if it needs charging.
- Before the fi rst use make sure that both batteries are charged and that the charging LEDs «Q» and «R» are green.
If they are not wait for them to be charged, which can take up to 3 hours (see the BATTERY RECHARGING section).
CONNECTING AN AUDIO SOURCE (after having recharged the BATTERIES)
Make sure that the devices are off before making the connections.
- Remove the headphones from the charging base.
- Find the headphone output on the TV or other audio device that you want to connect to (3.5 mm stereo headphone
connector). It is usually identifi ed with the symbol
WARNING make sure not to mix up the headphone output with a PC audio input present on certain TVs.
If the device does not have a headphone output see the "ALTERNATIVE AUDIO CONNECTIONS" chapter.
