IMPORTANT
• Verify where the Isofix anchoring points are positioned on the seat of the car and
check that they are free from any materials that could prevent their correct use.
• Verify that on the seat of the car there are not any items that may hinder the correct
leaning of the car base to the seat.
• Verify that the floor of the car is free from any materials that may hinder the correct
grip of the support foot.
• Verify that the backrest is in vertical position and the seat where the car base has to
be installed is NOT EQUIPPED WITH FRONT AIRBAG.
POSITIONING AND INSTALLING THE DARWIN i-SIZE BASE

Extract the support foot (A) from beneath the car base.

Use the release lever (E) to extract the Isofix connectors (D) completely from
the car base.

Make sure the anchoring indicators of the Isofix connectors (H) are red. If
one or both indicators are green, simultaneously press the button (F) and pull the
release lever (G) to unlock them.

Fasten the base connectors (D) to the seat Isofix anchoring points (L) until
hearing clearly both CLICK sounds signalling the occurred hooking.

Caution: the correct hooking of the Darwin i-Size base occurs when the
proper indicators (H) from red become green

Check that the Darwin i-Size base is properly hooked on both sides.

Holding the release lever (E) down, push the Darwin i-Size base against the
car seat, until it rests entirely on the backrest.

Adjust the height of the support foot (A) acting on the proper lever (C) until
touching the car floor. Release the lever (C) making sure that the extensible part of the
support foot remains blocked in its position.

The support foot (A) is only positioned correctly when the dedicated
indicators (B) change from red to green.
