Starting up the appliance

The purée rod (6) can be used to strain soft fruit and cooked vegetables and
to prepare baby food and purées. Cut large pieces of food into smaller pieces
beforehand.
Clean all parts as described in the "cleaning and care" section before allowing
them to come into contact with food.
Prepare the desired food and place it in a container that is high enough, wide
enough and stable.
Make sure that the device is disconnected from the power supply.
Attach the purée rod (6) below to the coupling on the drive unit (4) at symbol

Cleaning and care

Pull out the mains plug immediately after use.
Clean the purée rod (6) immediately after each use so that dried food residue
cannot damage the purée rod (6) during storage.
To pre-clean the purée rod (6), simply leave it to soak for a short while in a
container filled with hot water.
To remove the purée rod (6) for cleaning, rotate it in a clockwise direction. For
easy cleaning you can wash it in the dishwasher. In order to protect the materials
during cleaning, we recommend rinsing the purée rod under running water.
The drive unit (4) must not be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Never immerse the drive unit (4) in water, simply wipe it externally with a damp
cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agents.
