Safety equipment for
preventing or eliminating
hazards must be serviced
regularly in accordance
with 39 () VBG and its
safety and proper function
inspected at least once
per year.
The safety inspection must
be performed by the Wap
Service department.

SAFETY MEASURES

The cleaner should only
be used by persons
trained in its use and
expressly authorised to
use it.
Do not clean without the
filter cartridge!
This would cause damage
to the turbine!
Furthermore, health risks
cannot be ruled out if the
cleaner is operated
without a filter!
Do not pick up substances
for which the cleaner has
not been designed (see
point 2.0).
During cleaning and
maintenance of the
machine and replacing
parts, remove the mains
plug.
During cleaning and
maintenance of the
machine, the suction unit
housing must not be
sprayed with a water
hose.
Ensure that the mains lead
is not damaged by being
driven over, pinched or
dragged, etc.
Inspect the mains lead
regularly for signs of
damage and/or ageing.
The cleaner must not be
used if the mains lead is
not in perfect condition.
When using or replacing
the mains lead, the type
H07RN-F 4G 1.5 mm²
specified by the
manufacturer must be
used.
The replacement of the
mains lead may only be
carried out by an
authorised person.
The cleaner must be
protected with a 16 A (T-
type) fuse.
The dust collecting
container must be cleaned
as required, but always
after use.
Use only original Wap
accessories.
USING FOR THE FIRST
TIME
Ensure that the
voltage on the rating
plate corresponds to
the mains voltage.
When picking up
dusts with TLV ratings
and any carcinogenic
substances of groups II
and III, a 2-layer bag-
type safety filter, Art.
No. 33209, must be
used.
When picking up dusts
with TLV ratings > 1
mg/m

, a 2-layer bag-
type filter, Art. No.
14912, may be used
instead of the bag-
type safety filter.
For connecting up the
cleaner the plug of the
mains lead may only
be inserted into a
socket in accordance
with DIN 57 623 VDE
623, CEE Publication
17/5.66.

of the rotating field of
the socket: clockwise!
Extension leads and/or
adapters are not
permitted.
Fit the necessary
accessories, depending
on the intended
application (see point
12).
Turn on the cleaner at
the mains switch.
The cleaner is
equipped with a
direction of field
rotation indicator. If
the display lights up
when switchin on, the
direction of field
rotation must be
corrected at the mains
plug socket. The
cleaner is set for
clockwise rotation.
