APPLICATIONS
Take the maximum consumption of the camera into consideration when installing the system because this
parameter will considerably affect the maximum distance which may be reached using the 24 AWG UTP
CAT5 cable.
Example:
The maximum distances which may be reached using a 12V power supply are shown in the table 2.

Important note:
•
The use of Urmet Domus Ref.1092/800-801 power supplies with 13.2 V output is recommended.
•
The consumption of cameras without IR light is normally approximately 200-300mA.
•
The consumption of cameras with IR light is higher than 300-400mA
•
Always check the technical features of the cameras to be powered on the corresponding instruction
manual.
•
The distances may vary according to the wire quality also when the latter is made by the same
manufacturer as the devices.
•
Consider that the distances may decrease if the devices are used with DVR apparatuses.
