Batteries/rechargeable batteries
Batteries/rechargeable batteries are not included.
Either batteries (AA) or rechargeable batteries can be used in this cooler.
All batteries must have the same capacity and should ideally be the same age.
WARNING: do not connect the USB cable if non-rechargeable batteries are being used. There
is a risk that the batteries might leak and this could cause considerable damage to health or
personal injury.
Removing/inserting upper LED light ring
The upper LED light ring can be removed so the coolpack can be easily taken out for cleaning. When
putting in the LED light ring, please note that it can only be inserted in one position. The triangles
printed on the top of the light ring and in the casing of the wine cooler provide guidance for inserting
the upper LED light ring. A click will confirm that the light ring has been correctly positioned. The LED
light ring will only work if the ring has been placed correctly.
Initial operation of LED light
Once the coolpack and upper LED light ring have been inserted in the wine cooler from the top, the
ON/ OFF switch on the bottom of the wine cooler should be in Position 1 to switch on the light.
It must be switched on for the LED to work. Then, simply touch the base of the stainless steel casing
and the wine cooler will be illuminated
This appliance features decorative LED illumination at the top and bottom of the stainless steel casing.
The individually controllable ambient light has three different brightness settings.
Three ways in which the LED lights on this appliance work:
Example 1: the wine cooler is connected to the power socket via the USB adapter
Once the ON/OFF switch on the wine cooler is in Position I, the LED light can be switched on
via the Easy Touch function on the base of the wine cooler:
1st Touch: 10% brightness
2nd Touch: 50% brightness
3rd Touch: 100% brightness
4th Touch: off
Example 2: the wine cooler is connected to the power socket via the USB adapter and
rechargeable batteries are also inserted
The same as example 1. In addition, a green LED will blink at the bottom of the light ring
(approx. every 2 seconds) to indicate that the rechargeable batteries are not fully charged. The
green LED will switch off once the rechargeable batteries are fully charged.
Example 3: only batteries/rechargeable batteries are being used
If the ON/OFF switch is in Position I, a green LED on the bottom of the ring will be continu-
ously illuminated. This indicates that the energy being used is supplied by the rechargeable
batteries. At the top brightness level (100%), standard non-rechargeable batteries will last
around 4 hours.
Tip: reduce the level of brightness to prolong battery life and illumination.

3rd Touch: 100% brightness
4th Touch: off
