DESCRIPTION

Fan Starter 11, 18.5 and 22 PTC are Y/D starters for Nederman NCF EX Fans.
Y/D starting reduce the start current 3 times compared with a direct start.
The Fan Starter is fitted with a 4-pole main switch interlocked with the door so that
the door can not be opened if the switch is on.
Control voltage is 24 V AC supplied by an internal transformer.
Additional to the common motor overload protector there is in Fan Starter PTC a
relay for the PTC thermistors in the NCF EX motor.
The Fan Starter is prepared for connection with different components in an
extraction system. If Neutral is connected (N) a single-phase supply of 230 V is
available for external equipment, such as FilterMax, MAGNA-system or automatic
dampers. Supply with 24 V AC is also available for Fan Timer or other external 24
V AC equipment.
The 24 V AC can be connected continuously (terminal 3-4) or with S1 in pos.
"AUTO" (terminal 111-112, not available when connected to FilterMax).
