- Do not use this hand blender outdoors.
- Be sure to switch off after each use of your hand blender.
Make sure the motor stops completely before disassembling.
- Don´t use this hand blender if it malfunctions or if the mains lead is damaged.
Reture the hand blender to the retailer if it is still within the guarantee period.
- Check the mains lead regularly for damage.
- Keep the hand blender away from sources of heat e.g. oven or microwave.
- Don´t use the hand blender for any purpose other than those stated in the
instruction book.
HOW TO USE YOUR HAND BLENDER:
1. Attach the blender shaft to the motor unit by lining up the arrows and twisting in an anti-clockwise direction.
2. Place food in the mixing beaker or other suitable container.
(The blender shaft can be used with non - stick coatings).
3. Set the dial on the top of the blender to the appropriate speed setting.
4. Insert blender into container. Plug hand blender into the wall outlet.
5. Holding the unit firmly in your hand press the switch. Guide the blender through the food, moving it slowly, down
and from side to side.
NOTE: The unit should not be operated for more than 30 seconds without stopping. When pureeing food, it is
important to use enough liquid (juice, milk, cream, broth, etc.) to have a smooth misture. adjust the consistency os
the misture by adding more liquids or soft solids.
USING THE CHOPPER ATTACHMENT:
The chopper attachment is ideal for meat, cheese, onions, garlic, vegetables, etc.
The turbo switch should be used when processing hard cheeses. To use the chooper attachment remove the blender
shaft from the motor unit of the hand blender by holding it firmly and twisting in a clockwise direction. To attach the
motor unit to the top of the chopper line up the arrows and twist in a clockwise direction.
To remove the motor unit from the chopper, twist in and anti-clockwise direction and lift the motor unit off.
To reattach the motor unit the blender attachment again, line up the arrows and twist in anti-clockwise direction.
For best results when using the chopper attachment cut up large pieces of food before processing and only fill to the
line shown. Pulse the motor until the desired result is achieved.
You should not operate for longer then 15 seconds at one time without stopping. The food chopper attachment is
not suitable for hot food.
CLEANING:
Clean the motor part and the whisk gear box with a damp cloth only.
The chopper gearbox may be rinse under the tap. Do not immerse the gear box in water.
All other parts can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However after processing very salty food, you should rinse the
blades right away. Also be careful no to use an overdose os cleaner or descaler in your dishwasher.
When processing foods with color (e.g. carrots) the plastic ports of the hand blender may become discolored. Wipe
these parts with vegetable oil before placing them in the dishwasher.
