Running a Predef ined Voltage/Current Programme
T he s oftware allows you to define a s eries of voltage/current s ettings for the output, and let them run
automatic ally. T o s et up the programme:
Exiting f rom PC Remote Control Mode

C los e the remote c ontrol s oftware.
2.
D is connect the U SB/RS232 cable from the bac k of the power s upply.
Y ou hear a tone from the power s upply to indic ate that remote c ontrol mode is no longer ac tive. The
keys on the front panel are unloc ked automatically (this may take a few s ec onds).
Troubleshooting
I f you are experienc ing problems, c heck if the pc 's C O M port is s et up c orrectly:
bits per s ec ond: 9 600
parity bit: none
data bits : 8
s top bits : 1
data flow c ontrol: none.
T o c hec k the func tionality, run this query c ommand via a terminal application s uch as M TTTY:
* ldn?
T his s hould return the identification information (model name, s erial number) of the power s upply.

Cleaning and Maintenance
D is connect the device from the mains prior to maintenanc e ac tivities.
T he power s upply c ables mus t not s how any damage. H ave a qualified technician maintain the
devic e.
Wipe the devic e regularly with a mois t, lint- free c loth. D o not us e alc ohol or s olvents.
T here are no us er- s erviceable parts, apart from the fus e. C ontac t your dealer for s pare parts if
nec es sary.
Store the devic e in a dry, well- ventilated, dus t-free room.
Replacing the Fuse
O nly replace the fus e by a fus e of the s ame type and rating.
1.
Before replac ing the fus e, unplug the mains lead.
2.
Wedge the fus e holder out of its hous ing with a flat - head s c rewdriver.
3.
Remove the damaged fus e from its holder and replac e with the exac t s ame type of fus e.
4.
I ns ert the fus e holder bac k in its place and rec onnect power.

C lic k the ProgramForm tab.

I n the table, enter the des ired voltages, c urrents, and time (in s ec onds).
3.
I n the loop box, s elect how many times the programme has to run:
Selec t inf inite to let the programme run infinitely until you s top it
o
manually.
Selec t a number from the s election lis t.

O r c lick in the loop box and type the required number.

4.
C lic k the Run button to s tart the programme.
5.
C lic k the Stop button to paus e the programme. C lic k Run again and the
programme c ontinues where it was s topped.
6.
C lic k the MainScreen tab to s ee the evolution of voltage and c urrent in the
graphs while the programme runs .
