1.7 Probing Line 1
Probe line 1 by placing points on the cutting edge. Press the Probe Line 1 button (4).
Position the tool edge on the crosshairs. Press the Enter button (16) and move to the next
point on the edge. At least 2 points have to be set. Press the Finish button (15) and set the
points on the second edge. Press the Finish button to probe the enclosed line 1 (17).
1.8 Probing Theoretical Tip
Press the Probe Line 1 button (4). Position the tool edge on the crosshairs. Press the Enter
button (16) and move to the next point on the edge. At least 2 points have to be set. Press
the Finish button (15) and move the X axis until the count value in the X axis is 0. Press the
Enter button and move Z axis upwards a few millimetres. Press the Enter button and then
the Finish button. The X and Z values on the display are the values for the theoretical tip.
