Start up
Operation
• Sketch the cutting line onto the work piece.
• Connect the saw.
• Hold the saw firmly in front of you and with no
obstacles. Double-check the blade is not obstructed by
any object.
• To minimize kickback and vibration keep the saw's pivot
type shoe firmly leaning on the work piece.
• Lightly set the blade against the work piece.
• Before starting the cutting process press the trigger to
start the tool. Let the saw reach the required speed
(depending on the type of blade and materials).
• Firmly drive the saw along the sketch previously drawn.
Additional advise
• The blades cut in the saw's direction. In fine work like
panels or fiberglass, set the visible face of the material to
cut in the saw's back.
• Cut only with sharp blades. These types of blades make
cleaner, faster cuts and cause less tension to the motor.
• Always use the right blade for the material to be used
and have extra blades handy to use in case of wear out.
Replace blunt, crooked or broken blades immediately.
• To prevent damaging the blade
the tip of the blade shall extend
beyond the pivot type shoe and
the work piece during the cutting
swing.
