Battery warnings
WARNING! This device comes with a lithium ion
rechargeable battery pack. To reduce the risk of fi re
or burns, do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short
external contacts, or expose the battery pack to fi re.
Follow these additional safety guidelines:
• Use only battery packs approved for use with this
device.
• Do not store or leave your device or battery pack
near a heat source such as a radiator, fi replace, stove,
electric heater, or other heat-generating appliance,
or otherwise expose it to temperatures in excess of
140° F (60° C).
• Do not try to open the battery pack.
• Do not carry a battery pack in your pocket, purse,
or other container where metal objects (such as car
keys or paper clips) could short-circuit the battery
pack terminals.
• Keep the battery pack contacts clean. If they get dirty,
