Proper use of the freezer
Location
• Before using the freezer, remove all pack-
aging materials including bottom cush-
ion, foam pads and tape inside the
freezer. Tear off the protective film on the
door and the freezer body.
• Place the freezer in a well-ventilated in-
door place. The floor should be flat, and
sturdy enough to support the weight of
the appliance when it is fully loaded.
• The installation location should be away
from heat and direct sunlight. Do not
place the freezer in moist or wet places
to prevent rust and the reduction of insu-
lating system.

• Minimum clearances should be observed.
These are: 80 cm above the appliance,
and 15 cm to both sides and to the back.
This will facilitate the opening and clos-
ing of the doors and allows the dissipa-
tion of the heat generated by the refrig-
eration system.
• Wipe the inside and outside surfaces of
the freezer with a warm moist cloth. You
may add a small amount of detergent in
the warm water and wipe clean finally
using only clean water.

Starting the freezer

• Let the freezer stand for 6 hours before
plugging it to the power supply.
• Let the freezer run for 2 to 3 hours before
loading fresh or frozen foods. Consider-
ing the summer season, let the freezer
run for more than 4 hours before loading
food items into it.
