4. Install the battery
Insert the top of the battery first into the top edge of the battery
compartment. Ensure that the battery contacts align with the terminals
on the phone. Press the bottom of the battery down until it clicks into
place.

Charging your phone

Lift the charger port cover on the top side of your LG 840G. Insert the
charger connector to the phone (ensure that side 'B' of the connector
is facing up) and then plug the other end into the wall socket. Your
LG 840G will need to be charged until you receive a 'Battery Full'
notification.
Important! You should insert the battery before charging.
