Site Preparation
Plan and prepare ahead before you begin your
island assembly, here is a list of things that should be
considered:
• Island location – Make sure the assembly site is
solid and level. The island will only assemble cor-
rectly if it is on a level surface, if not, the panels
will not fit together correctly. In addition, the
island has adjustable feet that must rest on a solid
surface so that they will not sink over time.
• Island orientation – Wind direction is an important
consideration for proper appliance operation,
wind must not blow directly onto the back of the
grill.
• Power and gas supply – The island has two access
panels located in the base for routing gas and
electric. We always recommend using a qualified
technician and be sure to consult all local and
state codes before beginning assembly.
Caution:
Plan and prepare your island location prior to
beginning assembly. The island must be installed
on a solid level surface with proper access to your
necessary gas and electrical connections.
Never attempt to lift or move the island once it
has been assembled as damage is likely to incur.
