Troubleshooting:
If, during operation, the video is displayed abnormally, please follow the steps described below to
possibly solve the problem.
No Video, no audio:
• Make sure your DVD movie is original. HDMI has HDCP protection to prevent viewing of illegal
copies
• Make sure that the HDMI cable is not damaged
Video, but no audio:
• Make sure DVD or TV input is not set to DVI
• Make sure you are using a HDMI 1.1 or later cable
HDCP:
HDCP stands for High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection and was developed by the Intel
Corporation. Politics aside, HDCP is a technology embraced by the Motion Picture Association of
America as it eliminates the reproduction of copyrighted material.
