2. Setting the correct radio
channel
Thanks to a special digital transmis-
sion process the radio signals can
be smoothly recognised. This proce-
dure enables 10 different radio
channels to be set. The default set-
ting on all units is channel 0. The
units only need to be set to diffe-
rent radio channels if units are
being operated by several users
within the same building.
Open the housing as described
under the "Inserting the battery"
section. You can set the radio chan-
nel desired using three small short
circuit bridges.

Please note:
All transmitters and receivers must
be set to the same channel.
Triggering the beeper signal /
door bell signal
By pressing the beeper / door bell
key a signal is triggered on each
receiver set to the same channel as
the transmitter.
Radio range
The transmitter is designed to have
a radio signal range of 80 meters
under optimum conditions.
The following conditions may result
in a reduced range:
- Signal transmission through
building structures or vegeta-
tion
- Interference from TVs, com-
puter monitors and mobile
phones. Under certain cir-
cumstances, this may pre-
vent the receiver from func-
tioning at all.
- Positioning of the transmitter
at an unfavourable distance
from surfaces which reflect
radio waves, for example
floors and walls. This may
lead to the signal wave being
weakened or even cancelled
out by the reflected wave.
