1.4 Separating the supporting plate
(only for models with a mounting bracket, not for ceiling mounting)
Tools required: Two 17 mm ring or open-ended spanners.
The supporting plate is the part with which the hose reel
is held in place. It is to be used beforehand as a template
for marking the position of the drillholes.
Unscrew the nuts from the bolts and remove the supporting
plate from the mounting bracket.
2. Installation
The place of installation must comply with the requirements
stated above!
Always use the supporting plate as a template regardless
of whether you want to use the hose reel with or without
a casing, whether you want to mount it to the floor, wall
or ceiling or use it together with a swivel bracket (wall
mounting).

2.2 Drilling the holes for the fastening screws
Please note! The screws and the dowels you require depend upon the masonry which the hose reel
is to be attached to. No exact specifications can be made here. In the case of floors or concrete
walls, 10x80 mm screws with the corresponding dowels are usually sufficient.
1.
Position the supporting plate on the surface where the hose reel is to be mounted in such a way
that the slanting, open ends of the U-shaped plate are at least 50 cm away from the next wall
(floor installation). In the event of a wall installation, the plate must be at least 50 cm away from
the ceiling and 60 cm away from the floor. Adjust the template using the spirit level.
2.
Mark the position of the four holes for the dowels.
3.
Drill the holes for the dowels in accordance with the masonry and the screws which are going
to be used.
4. Insert the dowels and make sure that they fit well.
