Use
Press the button (4) to turn on the moisture
meter. The display will be activated.
Keep the button pressed for three seconds
so that the numbers (5) disappear and
the symbols � ash. Press the button once
or several times until the symbol for the
required measurement � ashes on the
display. Wait three seconds and take the
measurement.
Temperature measurement
If you have selected temperature
measurement, the ambient temperature is
displayed in the selected unit on the display.
Moisture measurement
If you have selected moisture measurement,
place the two sensors in the material to be
measured. The moisture is displayed as a
percentage on the display.
If the moisture content of the material
is higher than the upper limit of the
measurement range, "OL" (overload) will
appear in the display.
Background lighting
Press the button to turn the background
lighting on for three seconds.
If you do not use the moisture meter for
15 seconds, and if the value on the display
does not change during this period, the
moisture meter will turn off automatically.

Replacing the batteries

When the battery symbol (6) comes on,
the batteries need replacing. Dispose of
the used batteries in accordance with the
regulations which apply in your area.
Cleaning
Wipe the moisture meter with a damp but
well wrung cloth.
