Use the product only as described and only
for the given areas of application. Store these
assembly instructions carefully. When passing
the product on to third parties, please also hand

Intended use

The product is a lightweight awning (type L) suit-
able for repeated setting up and dismantling, the
features of which are ease of use and lightness,
with a total mass of < 2.75kg/m2/base. The
product is only intended for private use and not
for commercial use.

Safety information

Life-threatening hazard!
• Never leave children unattended with the
packaging materials. There is a risk of suffo-
cation.
• Mind your fingers in particular when folding
and unfolding the product. There is a risk of
injury from crushing.
• Assemble the product in the direction of the
prevailing wind. When assembling the prod-
uct, select a suitable ground surface to ensure
the ground pegs hold firmly. Use plastic
ground pegs for a sandy surface, steel ground
pegs for a solid surface.
• Check the product for damage or wear
before each use. Only use the product if it is in
perfect condition!
• The product is not suitable for use in snow.

• No persons may be in the semi-awning during
a thunderstorm.
• Do not use the product near open fire.
Precautionary measures for fire
and ventilation
Caution:
• Additional ventilation is required when using
gas or other combustion devices.
• Do not place hot appliances near the walls,
roof or curtains.
• Always mind the safety information for these
appliances.
• Never allow children to play near hot appli-
ances.
• Keep passageways clear.
• Make sure the ventilation openings are open
at all times to prevent suffocation.
• Keep all fire and heat sources away from the
awning fabric.
Preventing damage to the
product!
• Secure the product with a storm anchor during
extreme weather conditions, e.g. strong wind.
Store the product in a sheltered area.
Assembly
Practise assembling the product
before using it for the first time,
and check that it is complete and
in perfect condition. The product
should be assembled by at least
two people.
1. Push the keder cord on the groundsheet (8)
into the lower keder rail on your vehicle.
2. Open the carry bag (10) and pull the
semi-awning (1) out.
3. Undo the cords to roll out the semi-awning
(Fig. B).
Note: pull up the cords to securely pack the
semi-awning for storage.
4. Push the corresponding keder cord on the
semi-awning into the keder rail on your
vehicle (Fig. C).
5. Make a square with the textile straps on
the ground inside the semi-awning near the
vehicle, close the buckle (Fig. D) and fasten
the corners with suitable pegs (5).
Note: the square provides the basic shape and
size of the semi-awning.
6. Connect the multi-jointed parts of the tent
poles (2) and (3) so that they each form one
long pole.
7. Push the awning poles with the rubber cap
first into the marked fabric tunnels on the top
of the semi-awning roof (Fig. E).

8. Push the pins into the metal bushings on the
poles, to prevent slipping (Fig. G).
9. Stretch the semi-awning by hooking the clips
over the poles (Fig. F).
10. Secure the poles with suitable ground pegs
(6).
11. Insert the multi-jointed parts of the telescopic
roof poles (4) into each other so that they
each form a long rod.
12. Insert one telescopic roof pole into each of
the inner pockets of the semi-awning roof
(Fig. I).
Note: you can adjust the length by opening the
tensioning lever on the telescopic roof pole. Push
the tensioning lever back down once you have
adjusted it to the correct length (Fig. H).
13. Tie the telescopic roof poles onto the
semi-awning roof (Fig. J).
14. To prevent water collecting, stretch the
semi-awning from outside (Fig. K) and
tighten the tensioning belts on the poles near
the ground.
15. Tighten the guy lines and secure the corners
of the semi-awning, and fasten them with a
suitable ground peg (Fig. L).
Note: set up a suitable storm anchor in the
event of a storm. Enquire at a specialist store
about what storm guy lines to use, and fasten
them as described by the manufacturer.
Use
There are multiple ways to darken or completely
open the product's windows and doors.
Proceed as follows to darken a window or door:
1. Close the zip fastener.
2. Push the toggles through the rings (Fig. M).

2. Open the zip fastener.
Note: to completely open a door and secure
the fabric at the sides, release the buckle above
the zip.
3. Roll up the fabric and close the toggle with
elastic band (Fig. N).
Disassembly
The product must be completely dry
before it is folded up! Otherwise
mould or mildew may form.
Proceed as follows to store the product in the
carry bag (10):
1. Close the zip fasteners on all the product's
windows and doors.
2. Open the straps of the roof frame and pull
the telescopic roof poles out of the pockets.
3. Separate or fold the telescopic roof poles
and stow them in the storage bag (11)
provided.
4. Remove the ground pegs.
5. Pull the multi-jointed awning poles out, fold
them up and stow them in the storage bag
provided.
6. Pull the semi-awning roof out of the vehicle's
keder rail.

7. Lay the semi-awning flat on the ground.
8. Fold the semi-awning together lengthwise to
create a thin roll.
Note: make sure that none of the cords pro-
trude from the roll. The roll must not be wider
than the carry bag is long.
9. Roll up the semi-awning as tightly as possi-
ble.
10. Tie up the semi-awning to prevent it from
unfolding.
11. Place the semi-awning in the carry bag and
close the zip fastener.
